Promoting Snow Sports

The Eastern PA Ski Council and its member clubs have a long history of promoting snow sports in the community through various fundraising events that benefit snowsports programs.

EPSC Golf Outing

EPSC has organized an annual Golf Outing as a fundraiser for snowsports programs.  The event in 2026 is at Great Bear Resort.  You can find more information on that event and its benefactors on the Golf Outing Link.

Ptarmigan’s School Ski Club Scholarship Program

In 2019 the Ptarmigan Ski Club ran a Charity Golf Tournament to raise money for School Ski Club Scholarships and Special Olympics skiing programs. The remaining proceeds of the tournament were distributed to School Ski Clubs that ski at Blue Mountain Ski Area. $3000 was available for student scholarships.

The cost of the School Ski Club programs vary from school to school depending on transportation costs and

distances from Blue Mountain Ski Area.

Ptarmigan’s Ski Club Scholarship program is one of the ways ski clubs can give back to the community as well as promoting skiing with younger people. This interest will be passed on to the parents who can join a ski club and propriate the memberships for ski clubs with younger members.
